Ferrous

Team & careers

Sixteen people, one facility, four open roles

Ferrous was founded in 2024 by Lena Park and Marcus Bell — two engineers, one in battery systems and one in freight logistics, who kept meeting the same problem from two directions.

The team

Leadership works in the building. Every manager has run a route, a bench or a dock shift.

How hiring works here

  1. 1. Apply by email

Send a resume or a plain note about your background to dispatch@ferrous.eco with the role in the subject line. No portal, no account.

  2. 2. Meet the hiring manager

A 45-minute call with the person you would work for — Lena, Marcus, Dana, Eli or Rosa. We walk through the actual job, not a competency matrix.

  3. 3. Paid working session

Facility roles spend half a day on the floor, paid at the role’s hourly rate. Office roles get a realistic take-home exercise, capped at two hours.

  4. 4. Offer within a week

One decision-maker, one offer conversation, salary range honored as posted. Most offers go out within five business days of the session.

Do not see your role?

We hire operators before titles. If you can run a dock, a bench or a route, write to us anyway.
